Peter reminds us that our lives are lived only through the gracious hand of God. We need the light of Jesus to protect us from the oppression of the evil one. We can live full and glorious lives through the pandemic. The blessing of God’s eternal plan won’t be spoiled by fallen creation. We can have the assurance of sins forgiven and a hand ready to pick us up. We can receive peace and fullness of life.
