Allen Foster begins our series on the generosity of God and our response to Him by considering the story of the widow in Mark 12:41-44. Focussing on the poor widow’s offering we learn that God is concerned with our heart’s response and not the amount of our gift. Allen asks us to consider what our response might be in response to all that Jesus is teaching his disciples through his encounter with the Temple authorities.  He questions how we consider the nature of our giving when we are apt to name our giving after those who we perceive as beneficiaries.  Do listen…
